  • – Strong work ethic: self-starter, punctual, neat appearance, enthusiastic and attentive to detail
  • – Be able to communicate warmly and assertively to manage multiple and competing priorities
  • – Have a continual desire to improve, to increase your knowledge, and to share information with the team
  • – Able to work 8 or 10 hour shifts
  • – Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs
  • – Must have a passion for animals and desire to help people
  • – Must have reliable transportation

RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician)

We are looking for Veterinary Technicians who have excellent communication and technical skills who can intertwine communications between doctors and team members to ensure a seamless client experience. They must have an understanding of animal behavior and strong clinical skills in order to properly evaluate an animal’s condition and provide treatment.

 

Qualifications

  • – At least 1 year of Veterinary patient care (encouraged)
  • – Essential that you enjoy working with animals and have the ability to comfort, handle and restrain large and small pets.
  • – Must be able to stand for an entire shift as needed and be able to lift and carry 40 lbs
  • – Focused and organized work habits
  • – Be meticulous in charting, and generally well-organized and detail oriented
  • – The ability to educate clients about common veterinary problems, disease prevention, and medications including flea and tick control is essential.
  • – Able to work 8 or 10 hour shifts
  • – Spanish speaking ability is a plus!
